So, I have really neglected this DA account. I just don't like the history of this account and have trouble posting possibly unfinished work.

You see, when I first started out doing art, I had no idea what I was doing. I kind of just did whatever. As a result, I came off as very childish. And it isn't just DeviantArt. It's also Google, YouTube, and other accounts. It feels wrong to reset some and not the others.

Also, I feel like my style and general purpose with my DA accounts has changed. Originally, I posted OC concepts and scenes for an RO and everything was traditional and my style was very simple with light coloring. I have moved on to digital/traditional pictures. I do a lot of gifts, adopts, OC concepts, RP scenes, etc. I'm also a lot busier.

It isn't just history either. I have trouble posting plain line arts. I end up doing those a lot and never coloring it in or making it digital. And it feels wrong to upload those when I might later make it digital or color it in. Also, most of my gallery is finished pictures so it's hard to post something that might be finished later. I'm still trying to get past this for the new account.

Wow! I never thought I'd make it to 100 watchers. At some points I thought about giving up. But, I stayed and worked and finally reached that milestone.

But guess what! On the 20th of January, I had my 1-year anniversary of DeviantArt. Two celebrations!

In honor of the 100 watchers, I will be doing a large sketchbook tour. This will include my artwork binder, my two home sketchbooks, my previous school sketchbook, and other miscellaneous works from my home art backpack. I plan to spam art the next week or so in some of them so I have more to show. The sketchbook tours will likely each be several separate videos due to the size of my amount.

To celebrate one year of DeviantArt, I will be doing a picture for each of my loyal watchers and friends. These include , , , , , , , , and .               I already re-drew the Mosey picture. I also want to re-draw Redsplash, Greywillow, Havenspirit, and Greypaw before my sketchbook tour. I'm waiting on SparkeyesXGoldie, because I hate the position and want to try a new one.

• Crimson Nightmares cover

              I'm going to finally do an official cover. This will actually be the third created cover, but none of them I have been pleased with. But, I plan to create the official final cover.

• Re-organize my favorites

               I created some new folders for my favorites. The majority of my favorites are currently just one big long list. My computer hates it and won't let me do it. My iPad will, but it isn't the best thing for organizing. I'll try my tablet soon...

• Character refs for first-drawn characters

               After finishing the current ref I'm working on and re-drawing early-drawn characters, I want to do a ref for each of the first-drawn characters. I can't wait to do Redsplash, he's so cute! I also want to do Havenspirit.

Upcoming projects:

• Begin my Warriors analysis blog

              The blog is currently just me doing an introductory journal and a list of all the analysis titles and cats/plots I will be doing. I'm planning to finish the introductory journal. And then I'll write the first one. It will likely be about Brambleclaw's choice to train in the Dark Forest when he was young.

• Begin Crimson Nightmares comic

              Won't happen until after the Crimson Nightmares over and chapter 1 cover are done. I can't wait to really start doing it. The scene will begin with a leader getting their nine lives. Mwahaha

• Begin the 30 Day Warrior Cat Challenge!

              This challenge was instituted by Wildberry. It looks really fun and I can't wait to begin doing this. I'm considering doing an easter egg of Redsplash in each one because I love him and he is my waifu.

• Begin 100 Themes Challenge!

              I cannot wait to do this challenge. Nifty-Senpai instituted it and it looks really fun. Basically, you draw a picture of something relating to a central theme. Can You Hear Me? is likely going to be about Redsplash. My poor child.

• Begin 100 Warrior Cats Challenge!

              Also instituted by Nifty-Senpai. A lot of the characters I can't wait to do just to show how I imagine them. Drawing a visual will also help me visual scenes better.

FanFiction

To do ASAP:

• Write the newest chapter of Sensitive Souls

             I want to write the latest chapter of Sensitive Souls soon. It's going to basically be an exposition dump. But, that's okay. It will be awesome anyway.

To work on:

• Write a new chapter for Toxic Lullaby

            The chapter will likely help show the relationship between Stag and his 'siblings:' Kindle, Rope, and Ashen. I might do the lullaby. We'll see.

• Write a chapter for Pride

            Everyone has been waiting to see if the new Edge is really alive and what is going to happen between her and Soul. I might actually just do a chapter that will go between 1 and 2 to actually show more of Sunset and her siblings. Because apparently one abusive scene is enough for fans to hate certain characters.

Current projects:

• Make history and other work for World of Warriors

            World of Warriors is a forum on FanFiction I am a mod for that is growing to a larger one. I still have to make a history of the clans, a list of current plots and past plots, warrior code, herb list, fighting move list, and list of links to drawings of the characters, RP scenes, and territories.

• Revise my old stories

            I have a plan to revise my older, more original stories. I plan to make them even more original, plan out the plots, and create better characters. So Anna will become Provoking Who I Love: more characters, more realistic plot, and no longer a crossover. The Perfect Stranger has the same title, however it is no longer a crossover, has better character relations, and planned plot. Finally, Curse or Blessing? is a non-crossover, better characterized, and planned out version of The Stranger. Rose, a Cat to Remember still needs to be revised more.

Upcoming projects:

• Create actual covers for my stories (and my profile)

            I wanted to create covers for my stories. I also want to create a new profile picture. Pride, Sensitive Souls, and Toxic Lullaby are top on my list. After them, I want to do Curse or Blessing?, The Perfect Stranger, and Provoking Who I Love. I also plan to update my profile picture.

• Make a writing forum

            I want to make a forum that will help experienced writers, current writers, and new writers. I want to make it so that writers can practice their work and connect with others.

As of the new year, I've decided to make a couple resolutions. I will list only the ones related to DeviantArt, FanFiction, YouTube, and Warriors. Instead of short lists, I will show the main resolution in bold and a short explanation beside it. At least the ones that need explained. Some are self-explanatory and just need a line or two.

Resolutions related to DeviantArt:

• Draw more in my new style. I have found a set style for drawing and should use it more often. I will help this be re-doing my old art in my new style.
• Re-organize my gallery and favorites. My gallery has a terrible set-up and needs a much better system. My favorites isn't as bad, but some of the folders are really packed and need to be split down.
• Post art and adopts on my otter two accounts. My other two accounts, and , have both not really been used by myself. I want to use them more.
• Finish all owed art. I have a very small amount. But, I want it all done.
• Finally get a commission! In the almost-year I've been on DA, I have never gotten a commission. I know I can't control this. But maybe if I keep posting, someone will finally do it.
• Begin my journal series. I have had an idea for a blog series where I do analysis of Warriors. Each blog will eventually become a YouTube video. But blogs are much easier and faster. You guys will love it if you like Warriors.
• Save up points for core and commissions. I'm really bad at saving up points. But, I will work a lot harder at saving them up for core and commissions. Hopefully resolution 4 will help.
• Start Crimson-Nightmares. I want to start this comic and story this year. Really aiming for it.
• Create refs for many of my popular characters. I plan to make at least temporary refs for most of my most drawn or written characters. I might just make temporary ones this year and make real refs later in the year or next year.
